State and County Detailed Population Estimates
The Pennsylvania State Data Center creates these estimates. They are a separate dataset from comparable estimates published by the U.S. Census Bureau. These detailed estimates include total population by gender and by five-year age groups (0 to 4, 5 to 9, etc.), as well as single year of age for the population 0-19. In addition, the detailed report includes population estimates by white and black race groups for the state and selected counties. Reports include state- and county-level total population estimates along with the previous year's estimate and the previous Decennial Census' total population count. These reports are published annually.
The Population of Pennsylvania Municipalities
The Population of Pennsylvania Municipalities are a convenient reference source for the U.S. Census Bureau's annual sub-county population estimates. This publication include total population estimates for each of the Commonwealth's counties, townships, cities and boroughs. Also included are the time series of each of the previous years' estimates and the previous Decennial Census' total population count. These reports are published annually.
